Information about living in Vantaa
Do you find city services confusing, do you need help as regards e-Services? Don't worry, we will help you! We are happy to tell you about the city's services, language courses and leisure activities. You can call us, send us an email or come and visit, we will guide you to the right place!
If you’ve only recently moved to Finland and to Vantaa, you may be entitled to an initial assessment. The assessment will help you find suitable services and cope with everyday life in your new country.

Tourist information and leisure tips
Are you looking for brochures, maps, information on events or attractions? Tourist information serves you at Myyrmäki (Myyrmäkitalo, Kilterinraitti 6) and Tikkurila (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) Vantaa Infos.
We will give you lots of information on Vantaa's and its neighbors' attractions and events, and we have brochures on cultural activities, sports and hobbies. Likewise, we will tell you about organizations operating in Vantaa as well as about forms of volunteer activities.
Help with information search and e-Services
Do you need help when you are looking for information on the city's or other authorities’ websites? Would you like to get some help with the city’s or our partners’ e-Services? Come to Vantaa Info, we will help you in Finnish and English.
Hakunila International Association’s e-services project organizes in co-operation with Vantaa-info: personal guidance for immigrants in the use of e-services (ex. Kela, bank, finding a house) in English, Arabic and Romanian. Remember to take your bank access codes with you.
On Mondays from 10:00 to 13:00 at Tikkurila Vantaa Info (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor).
Personal guidance will not be arranged on the following days: April 3 (municipal advance voting), April 17 (Easter), and May 1 (May Day). Personal guidance will be on summer break from June 1 to July 31, 2017.
Counseling for seniors and senior’s information corner
Do you have any questions for Senior Clinic? Come and talk with an elderly work professional about your situation or about the situation of someone you care about.
Senior Clinic is available on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 at Tikkurila Vantaa Info (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) and on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 12:00 at Myyrmäki Vantaa Info (The Myyrmäki House, Kilterinraitti 6).
Would you like to learn to use the Internet more independently?
A webmate is always present at Myyrmäki and Tikkurila Vantaa Infos. Ask the webmate to help you find information about or get to know the City of Vantaa's and state actors’ e-Services. The webmate will help you with or without advance appointment. The webmate will also help during the opening hours of Senior Clinic in Tikkurila and Myyrmäki.
Senior’s information corner has topical brochures on leisure activities and city services, as well as on organizations and businesses offering social services.
Counseling for seniors and senior's information corner
For the young and their parents
The Finnish Red Cross’ Emergency Youth Shelter offers help with problematic situations faced by the young and parents at Tikkurila Vantaa Info, on Thursdays, from 16:00 to 19:00.
Personal guidance will not be arranged on May 25.
Information for entrepreneurs
Are you interested in becoming an entrepreneur or are you just looking for general information about entrepreneurship? Myyrmäki (The Myyrmäki House, Kilterinraitti 6) and Tikkurila (Dixi, Ratatie 11, 2nd floor) Vantaa Infos offer general information about entrepreneurship. In addition, we will refer you to an expert, when required. You can also call our phone service, tel. 09 839 20 000, on weekdays from 8:00 to 16:00.
Free-of-charge legal counseling
Free-of-charge legal counseling is provided at the Myyrmäki House once a month from 17:00 to 20:00. Advance enrollments to the janitor of the Myyrmäki House, tel. 09 8393 5457 or 0400 438 521. Advance appointment is required.
During spring 2017, free-or-charge legal counseling usually takes place every other Thursday of the month from 17:00 to 20:00 as follows: Jan. 12, Feb. 9, March 9, April 6, and May 11, 2017.
