Buying a travel card

You can use the Helsinki Region Public Transport travel card in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa, Kerava and Kirkkonummi public transport. Using the travel card you can move from town to town, bus to local train, and in Helsinki also by metro, tram or Suomenlinna ferry.

The Citizen's Offices in Korso, Tikkurila and Myyrmäki are Helsinki Region Traffic (HSL) service desks where you can buy a bearer and personal travel card and load it up. The price of the card is 5 euro. When you want to buy a personal travel card, bring a driver’s licence, passport or identity certificate. We can update the discount rights on your personal travel card and name and address changes. You can visit the Citizen's Office if you have problems with the travel card, for example, when you have lost it or it does not work.

Bearer travel cards are sold in addition to the Citizen's Offices at other travel card sale desks which are indicated by the travel card sign. The travel card can be loaded up wherever travel cards are sold, such as R-kiosks.
