City card

You can buy a City card at the Citizens’ Offices. You can load a series of vouchers for paying for school snacks or for meals in out-sourced eateries for pensioners living in Vantaa.

One must fill out a City card application form for a pupil’s City card. The form must be signed by the guardian or parent. Proof of the pupil’s identity must be shown when applying for the card. A Kela card is also accepted for identifying a minor. A cash security is required for the pupil’s City card. Snack vouchers can be loaded on the card in series of 10 vouchers. A Vantaa pensioner must fill out the City card application form to get the City card. When applying for the City card the pensioner must in addition present an identity document and the pension card. Series of 5, 10 or 20 vouchers can be loaded on the card. Prices of the card and voucher series are on the price list.

Transport services (taxi card)

The taxi card is also called a City card, but matters regarding transport services are handled by the social workers in the old-age or disabled services.
