A municipal resident with a right to culture is at the centre of our cultural services. Culture and art provide experiences and bring joy to life. It is a question of expressing oneself and of spending time together.

In the City of Vantaa organisation, the cost division of Culture Services is responsible for ensuring that the residents’ artistic, cultural and self-expressional needs are met.

The Culture Services is in charge of promoting, supporting and organising the City’s culture and museum activities as well as the basic education of art. This is done in cooperation with the Vantaa cultural institutes and communities. The Culture Services works in service of both professional art as well as leisure-time art activities.

Various joint ventures increase the variety of the service range. In addition to the Culture Services’ own financing, project and venture grants enable service-production funding.
