Health Centres
Health centres provide residents of Vantaa with both non-emergency doctor, nurse and public health nurse services as well as emergency care on weekdays during office hours. The health centres are normally open Mondays to Fridays, from 08.00 to 16.00. Health centres can be contacted by calling their own service number, or by calling the switchboard number (09) 83911. The health centre operations are being reconstructed during 2011 and the most important information on time schedules and instructions on how to seek medical care can be found on the health centres’ own web pages.

Changing of one’s health centre
The new Health Care Act provided the municipal residents the opportunity to more freely chose their own health centre within their municipality. Previously, municipal residents have been allocated their health centre according to their home address. Additional information on changing your health centre and the necessary forms can be found here (in Finnish).
