Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Point

Are you concerned about your own or a family member's or friend’s mental wellbeing or substance use? You can get help and advice easily at the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Service Point. Just walk in or make an appointment in advance!

The service point is located at Martinlaakso Health Center. The service is open for all adult residents of Vantaa.

Walk in or make an appointment

  • The service point helps you whenever you are worried about mental health or substance abuse.
  • You can either make an appointment in advance or walk in to the service point and take a queue number.
  • You do not need to have a referral or a diagnosed mental health or substance abuse problem. It is sufficient that you feel that you need help.
  • The service is open for all adult residents of Vantaa.
  • The service is free of charge.
  • If you have questions about prescriptions and medication, contact your own health center.

Seek help in time

  • If you seek help in good time, you can prevent problems from accumulating and prolonging.
  • There is no need to be ashamed: everyone needs a helping hand sometimes!
  • It can be difficult to identify substance abuse and mental health problems or a gaming addiction. You do not have to know the nature of your problem in advance.
