You do not have to enroll in Sporttia kaikille (Sports for Everybody) clubs; just come along when the time is right for you. It's enough for you to come and register with the counselor.
Physical exercise for people of all ages
There are more than a hundred free-of-charge sports clubs for children, the young and adults in Vantaa. Are you interested in ballgames? Come and play football, badminton, basketball, volleyball, futsal or floorball! Would you like to dance the ballet or jump? Would you prefer to test several forms of physical exercise? Then, multiple exercise could be the answer for you. Find your own exercise online at: harrastushaku.fi by using the search word “Sporttia kaikille.”
No matter where in Vantaa you are living or where you are originally from, the Sports for Everybody project will help you find your way to an exercise hobby. The project arranges hobby sessions in various sports, peer activities, events, tournaments, trips and camps all over Vantaa. The aim is to make the city’s and various societies’ sports services available to everyone.
Come with a friend
It is easy to try out different sports at Sporttia kaikille kerhot. You can also join in the middle of a season, and come with your parent, sibling or friend. There are groups for people of all ages; the age limits are directional and can be agreed on. The clubs assemble on schools’ sports premises, youth clubs and sports halls; weather permitting, ballgames also take place out-of-doors.
Can you swim?
The project also arranges affordable swim schools for children and adults who cannot swim, as well as free-of-charge swim courses together with swimming clubs. You can enroll in swim schools and courses online at Simmis Vanda -sites and Vanders-sites.
