Health care and social services
When you are acting on behalf of another person, you need the other person’s written consent. The consent shall be made at Health and Social Welfare Department’s service units or online through the Maisa customer portal.
You need the consent if you want to transact on behalf of another adult person (e.g., your spouse or elderly parent). The consent will be valid until further notice, and it can be altered or canceled at any time.
Guardians have the right to transact on behalf of their underage children. Guardians cannot transact electronically on behalf of 12—17-year-old children; however, apart from our e-Services, guardians can use the other services on behalf of their children. Guardians can, nevertheless, transact electronically on behalf of 0—11-year-old children.
