School health survey provides national follow-up data on 10 - 20-year-olds’ wellbeing, health, social inclusion, and experiences of receiving service, and it is implemented in the spring of uneven years all over the country. The National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) is responsible for implementing the survey.

The respondents consist of elementary school students in grades 4 and 5, as well as students in grades 8 and 9, high schools’ 1st- and 2nd-year students, as well as vocational institutions’ 1st- and 2nd-year students under the age of 21 who are taking their basic vocational qualification. The data gained from the school health survey in Vantaa will be utilized in Vantaa’s city-level management by wellbeing data, as well as in planning, developing, and evaluating schools and educational institutions’ wellbeing work.
