Compliant with government guidelines, National Emergency Supply Agency distributes home tests to schoolchildren and students
Compliant with the government guidelines, the National Emergency Supply Agency will distribute at-home Covid-19 tests (Coronavirus home tests) to students in basic education as well as in upper secondary education. The tests will be delivered to Vantaa in several batches. The tests will be handed out to the schoolchildren and students, beginning from grade 1. The first batch of tests will be given to students in grades 1-4 during weeks 6 and 7.
Schools and educational institutions will inform the guardians of the time when the tests will be handed out to the schoolchildren and students. Each student will be offered one test package, consisting of five tests. Accepting the tests and conducting them is voluntary.
Coronavirus home tests constitute a part of the measures to improve the health security of schools, decided by the ministerial working group on COVID-19 on January 7, 2022.
