What will change in the Wellbeing services county?
From the beginning of 2023, the social and health services and rescue services for Vantaa and Kerava residents will be organized by the Wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava.
The social and health services of the cities of Vantaa and Kerava will be produced by the Wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava. The familiar health centres in the Vantaa and Kerava area will continue to serve you and no branches will be closed. You can find the service locations from the vakehyva.fi.
The new website and service numbers
In December 2022, the Wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava launched their own website vakehyva.fi. The website will provide you with all the news and services of the Wellbeing service county. The content is available at the moment only in Finnish and Swedish.

New independent organisation
The wellbeing service county is a completely separate organization from the cities, with its own leadership elected in the regional elections. You can find out more about the organization and strategy of the Wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava from vakehyva.fi.
The funding of the wellbeing service county comes mainly from the state and from customer charges for services, which is a big change from the current model, based on municipal funding. During the transition period, the budget of the Wellbeing services county of Vantaa and Kerava shows a deficit but it will soon be in balance.
