Coronavirus testing

Taking a coronavirus sample

A coronavirus sample will be taken if within 14 days prior to seeking treatment you have started to have:

  • acute respiratory infection (one symptom is sufficient: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, shortness of breath, loss of sense of smell or taste) or
  • onset of diarrhea or abdominal pain without any other obvious cause.

Making an appointment for a coronavirus test

Residents of the Uusimaa region can make an appointment for coronavirus sample taking themselves through the Koronabotti electronic service. You can also make an appointment for your under-16-year-old child there. If you want to make an appointment for someone else, please contact the coronavirus counseling telephone of Vantaa. The Koronabotti can be found at the address: koronabotti.hus.fi/en

You can also make an appointment for testing by calling the coronavirus counseling telephone that is open between 8 am and 6 pm on weekdays and between 9 am and 6 pm on weekends at the number + 358 (0)9 839 50070.
