Vantaa Art School

Vantaa Art School is a recreational institution, maintained by the city, for 5−20-year-old children and young people living in Vantaa.

The teaching follows the advanced syllabus in basic education in the arts. The teachers are art teachers and other professionals in visual arts. The study units are situated in different districts in Vantaa. The Art School’s services are chargeable.

In addition to education, Vantaa Art School arranges short courses for children, families, and adults.

Fall semester: August 21−December 16, 2017
Spring semester: January 8−May 19, 2018
Fall break: October 16−20, 2017 (week 42)
Winter break: February 19−23, 2018 (week 8)

Weekday Holidays 2017−2018

On the eves of weekday holidays, classes are held normally.
Classes that would take place on weekday holidays will be rescheduled by the teacher.
The weekday holidays are: November 4, December 6, March 30, April 2, May 1, and May 10.
