Low-threshold coronavirus test strongly recommended

It is of key importance to offer everybody a low-threshold coronavirus test to prevent the epidemic from spreading further. At the moment coronavirus sampling points offer plenty of appointment times, and the results of the test will be available within 1-2 days. Even people with mild symptoms are recommended to take the test.

A coronavirus sample will be taken, if one or more of the symptoms below have begun within 14 days before coming to treatment:

  • acute respiratory infection (one symptom is enough: fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste) or
  • diarrhea or stomachache without other apparent reason.

People living in Uusimaa can themselves make a coronavirus sampling appointment via the online Koronabotti service. You can also make an appointment for your under-16-year-old child. If you want to make an appointment for somebody else, please contact Vantaa health centers’ phone service. Koronabotti is available online at: koronabotti.hus.fi/en
