Have you recently moved to Vantaa? You may need information about different services and about what rights and responsibilities you have. These pages will provide you with detailed information about the services provided by the city of Vantaa. You can get general information about the city’s services at the Citizen's Offices. The Jeesi – youth information and advisory service is geared toward all Vantaa inhabitants between the ages of 13 and 25. The city also provides some special services for people that have moved to Finland from abroad. The immigration team can give you guidance and assistance in problem situations. If you have school-aged children you can contact the school coordinators who will assist you in finding a suitable school. In daycare-related issues you can contact your local daycare centre. You and your child are free to participate in open daycare and park activities. Teaching in Finnish and Swedish is arranged for adults at the Vantaa adult education centres. The centre also provides a diverse selection of both fun and useful courses. You can borrow literature, films and music in different languages from the library.
