Support for the use of online services
Vantaa-info helps you use the online services of the city and other public authorities. You can ask for help if you need to, for instance, submit an early childhood education application or attach a document to your digital application. The menus below list the services about which Vantaa-info will advise you.
For your security, Vantaa-info employees will not give an opinion on the content of online services, such as tell you what to write on an application. If you need help from an expert, Vantaa-info will advise you who to contact. Vantaa-info can also help you find a digital support provider that suits your needs, for example if you need help with using your own digital device.
At Vantaa-info service points in Myyrmäki and Tikkurila you can use a computer, a printer, and a scanner for a short period to take care of official matters. If needed, the staff can help you use these devices.
Printouts and photocopies related to taking care of matters with authorities (for example, documents for Kela “The Social Insurance Institution of Finland,” the Police, and the city) are free of charge. Other printouts and photocopies are subject to a charge. Browse the pricelist here: pricelist.
Vantaa-info gives guidance about city services
Vantaa-info gives general guidance about the services provided by the city and digital support for using online services. At Vantaa-info service points, you can take care of matters requiring a personal visit, such as applying for a Sporttikortti (“Sports card”) or a schoolchild’s travel card, as well as submit documents addressed to the registry office of Vantaa. Urban Environment department's customer service serves on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:45-15:00, on Wednesdays at 8:45-14:00, and on Fridays at 8:15-15:00, tel. 09 8392 2242.
Vantaa-info provides general information on urban environment matters. When required, you will be referred to an expert. Vantaa-info helps you use online services, such as the feedback channel and the lupapiste.fi website for applying for building permits. The employees will also help you to find local detailed plans online.
Customer service on parking control is provided by phone Mon-Fri at 10:00–14:00, tel. 09 8392 4191.
Vantaa-info will give you general guidance, for instance, on payment issues related to parking control, as well as support for using the Helgapark.net website.
At Vantaa-info service points in Tikkurila and Myyrmäki, you can pay fees such as parking tickets and towing fees.

If a student has been granted a schoolchild's travel card for travel to and from school, the card can be picked up at Vantaa-info.

You can leave documents addressed to the Registry Office of the City of Vantaaa as well as other mail addressed to the city at Vantaa-info service points in Korso, Myyrmäki, and Tikkurila.

You can apply for and renew your Sports pass at Vantaa-infos. “Sporttikortti 70+” pass is meant for Vantaa residents aged 70 or older. The card entitles you to use the city’s swimming halls and gyms free of charge on weekdays.

Vantaa-info gives information about the services provided by the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and helps you with the agency’s online services. When required, you can leave filled-out forms and other mail to be sent to the Digital and Population Data Services Agency at Vantaa-info.
Please note that you must contact the Digital and Population Data Services Agency directly if you need certificates such as a birth certificate or a life certificate.
At Vantaa-info service points, you can purchase a HSL card as well as top up your card either with a season ticket or value to pay for individual journeys. You can also update your discount entitlement, name and address on your travel card.
Vantaa-info helps if, for example, you have lost your HSL card or if it does not work. The staff also gives information about HSL's services and routes, and helps you with the use of HSL app. At Vantaa-info, you can pay with the most common debit and credit cards or in cash. Please note that it is not possible to top up your HSL card with ePassi app at Vantaa-info.
Vantaa-info gives information about the services provided by Kela and helps you with the use of Kela’s online services. If needed, you can leave filled-out forms and other mail to be sent to Kela at Vantaa-info service points.
Vantaa-info helps you use online services provided by the Police if you need to book an appointment online, for example. Please note that Vantaa-info will not receive lost and found items. The Police are in charge of receiving and storing them. Sending documents to the Police from Vantaa-info is, unfortunately, not possible.
Vantaa-info gives information about the healthcare and social services provided by the Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county and helps you use their online services. You can top up HSL card at Vantaa-info service points if you have been granted a promissory note. In addition, you can pay Vantaa and Kerava wellbeing services county's invoices and leave filled-out forms and other mail to be sent to the wellbeing services county at Vantaa-info.
Vantaa-info gives information about the services provided by the Tax Administration and helps you use its online services. When needed, you can also print out the Tax Administration's forms at Vantaa-info service points. Sending documents to Tax Administration from Vantaa Info is, unfortunately, not possible.

You can rent the premises of Myyrmäki and Tikkurila Vantaa-infos for events and meetings taking place in the evening and over the weekend. The premises are reserved through the Timmi reservation system.
