Culture Residents

Culture belongs to everyone. However, not everyone can afford to buy tickets to the museum, theater or a concert, for example. If you have a continuous customer relationship with a service provided by the wellbeing services county and your financial situation is poor, you can apply for a Kaikukortti card.

The aim of the Kaikukortti card is to improve the opportunities of young people, adults and families with financial constraints to participate in cultural life and engage in creating art. With the Kaikukortti card, you can get free tickets to events such as concerts, festivals, dance or theater performances. The card is personal, and it is free of charge.

You can get a Kaikukortti card if

  • you are a customer of a health and social services or health and welfare promotion unit that participates in Kaikukortti activities in the Vantaa and Kerava area
  • in addition, your financial situation is poor, and you cannot afford tickets or course admission fees for this reason. You do not need to prove your income to receive the card
  • you are at least 16 years old.

Using the Kaikukortti card

Get a ticket with the Kaikukortti card through the cultural venue’s own ticket sales channels. When getting the ticket, be prepared to show your Kaikukortti card and to provide the card’s ID code. The number of Kaikukortti tickets may be limited.

Kaikukortti is used in several places in Finland. You can use your Kaikukortti card in any Kaikukortti area. You can check the Kaikukortti venues and issuers in Vantaa on the VAKEhyva website.
