Voting on election day
The election day for the Parliamentary Elections is Sunday, 2 April 2023. Polling stations are open from 9.00 to 20.00.
On election day, you can only vote at the polling station marked on your poll card. The poll card will be mailed to your home and is available in the suomi.fi service. If you are unsure about your polling station or your right to vote, you can inquire about the matter from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (tel. 0295 535 530).
Remember to bring your proof of identity – a driver's license is also accepted. If you do not have a document proving your identity, you can receive a temporary identity card that entitles you to vote free of charge from the police.
