Vantaa has a wide range of indoor facilities for various sports. The selection is extensive from small gymnasiums to large sports centres.

The city's indoor sports facilities include swimming halls, hockey arenas, sports centres and school and day-care centre gyms.

Vantaa offers a wide range of indoor sports facilities 

Energy Arena, Myyrmäki Sports Centre, Tikkurila Sports Centre and Multipurpose Centre Lumo are the city’s largest indoor sports facilities and offer great conditions for various sports. 

The ice arenas of Myyrmäki and Tikkurila have two rinks and other training facilities. The ice arena of Myyrmäki also has squash courts and table tennis tables. 

The rock shelters of Rajatorppa and Hakunila have martial arts, strength training and floorball facilities. 

School and day-care centre gyms are an important part of Vantaa’s indoor sports facility network, providing sports clubs with good facilities for their activities. 

The tennis centre of Rajakylä has good conditions for playing tennis and badminton. The centre also has a multipurpose court for playing floorball and other games. There is also a small gymnastics room on the top floor. 

There are five swimming halls in Vantaa. The small swimming hall in Korso has one swimming pool with four 25-metre lanes. The swimming hall in Hakunila has a large pool with eight 25-metre lanes, a practice pool, a children's paddling pool, a cold pool and a warm therapy pool. The swimming hall in Martinlaakso has a large pool with five 25-metre lanes and a practice pool. The swimming hall in Myyrmäki has a large pool with eight 25-metre lanes, a practice pool, a children's paddling pool, a diving pool, a cold pool and a warm therapy pool. The swimming hall in Tikkurila has a practice pool and a large pool with six 50-metre lanes. There is also a diving pool, diving boards and a diving tower. All the swimming halls, with the exception of Korso, have a gym. (There is a separate page for swimming halls and gyms) 

You can pay a one-off fee or purchase a swim pass to use the swimming halls and gyms. To use other indoor sports facilities, you must book a slot in advance.
