Changes to Vantaa’s sports grants – new terms and conditions come into force on 1 November 2026
The reform of sports grants will clarify the different types of grant and make it easier to apply for them. The new terms and conditions will come into force on 1 November 2026. Fall vacation in Vantaa: art, gymnastics and culture
Vantaa offers diverse activities during the fall vacation from October 12–18.
Repair work at Hakunila Swimming Hall and the Vetokannas winter swimming place, Korso Swimming Hall to close next spring
The Vetokannas winter swimming place and Hakunila Swimming Hall’s teaching pool will be renovated during the fall. Korso Swimming Hall will close at the end of March 2027.
Kuusijärvi’s new smoke sauna stove stones to be replaced after Easter
Kuusijärven uusien savusaunojen kiuaskivet vaihdetaan ensimmäistä kertaa käyttöönoton jälkeen. Savusaunat ovat pois käytöstä vuorotellen kiuaskivien vaihdon ajan.
Enrollment in sports-oriented fall vacation camps to begin on September 15
During the fall vacation, sports-oriented day camps will be organized for elementary school children. The camps will take place in different parts of Vantaa.
