Every child born in Vantaa 2023 or after are invited to become a Vantaa Culture Kid. Those enrolled as Culture Kids will get invitations to free-of-charge events until they begin school.

The Child Friendly City Initiative

The City of Vantaa is now a Child Friendly City. Finnish Committee for UNICEF granted the City of Vantaa the Child Friendly Cities recognition in January 2024.
