Influence Vantaa - Voxit discussions
Voxit discussions offer a constructive and anonymous way to participate in the decision-making of the city.
The views of residents on current topics relating to the city’s development will be collected through Voxit discussions.
Join the discussion – How could we support parenting in Vantaa even better?
Parents play an irreplaceable role in building a good everyday life for children and young people. The City of Vantaa wants to be involved in supporting families’ smooth daily lives and in strengthening parenting. City services such as early childhood education, schools, educational institutions, as well as sports, youth, culture and library services, are an important part of families’ everyday lives.
What kind of support have you received in your parenting? In which services has the city succeeded? What kind of support would you have needed? What should the City of Vantaa develop or renew?
Respond to the statements in the discussion. You can agree or disagree with a statement. You may also skip a statement if you neither agree nor disagree. If you wish, you can add your own statements to the discussion and thus highlight perspectives that are important to you. As part of the Child-Friendly Municipality work, the City of Vantaa wants to identify what kind of support guardians need for their parenting. The results of the discussion will be used when developing parenting support in the city’s services.
Join the discussion and share your views on parenting support from 9–31 March 2026.
What is Voxit?
Voxit (formerly Polis) is an online discussion platform that offers residents a constructive and anonymous way to participate in the decision-making of the city.
The starting points for Vantaa’s Voxit discussions are initial statements made by the city, which the participants of the discussion can comment on. For each statement, participants can state whether they agree or disagree. Participants can provide the reasons for their opinion, if they wish. The statements can also be skipped.
Participants can also submit their own statements to the platform, which others can then comment on.
The discussion platform is in Finnish, Swedish and English.
Vantaa has received funding for the use of Voxit from Sitra.
