Citizens' houses are communal meeting places open to everybody. At a low threshold, you can hang out, engage in a hobby, and participate in events.

Citizens' houses and their functions are meant for the residents and communities of the areas. Residents and associations are welcome to create ideas and carry out joint resident activities with the city's community work employees. Operating rules and the safer space principles are applied to all citizens' houses.

Furthermore, citizens' houses ca…n be reserved for association or for leisure purposes, for example. Reservation of premises meant for public interest activities intended for Vantaa residents is usually free of charge.

Exceptions to opening hours are possible. Please check for any changes through the facility’s information channels.
The opening hours of the residential activity facilities do not affect agreed usage times.

Facilities and equipment 

Local organisations and communities can reserve communal facilities for their use. Private individuals will be charged a fee for the use of communal facilities according to the price list. You can reserve facilities via the Timmi reservation system. 

You are welcome to use the public access computers at residential activity facilities without reservation. The computers are available during opening hours. You can also bring your own devices to work or study remotely. Some of the resident activity facilities have electric tables and ergonomic chairs for customers.
