The City of Vantaa supports and enables voluntary activities and cooperates with many organisations. Voluntary activities offer a wide range of opportunities to be proactive and help other people.

The city have many different voluntary missions. You can participate in voluntary activities only once or repeatedly. We strive to find suitable activities for everyone interested in voluntary activities.

Participation in voluntary activities does not require previous experience or qualifications.

…Volunteers are insured against accidents while they engage in voluntary activities. Volunteers can consult the contact person for voluntary activities during their voluntary activities. Training and joint meetings are organised for volunteers. Volunteers may also participate in recreational activities organised for volunteers by the city.
