Vantaa Culture Kids
Every child born in 2023 or after and living in Vantaa are invited to become a Culture Kid. Those enrolled as Culture Kids will get invitations to free-of-charge events until they begin school.

This is how you join the Culture Kids activities
The City of Vantaa invites all Vantaa children born in 2023 and after to become Vantaa Culture Kids.
1. If you would like your child to attend the Culture Kids’ events, you must inform us. Enrol your child as a culture kid (link above).
2. We will email you invitations to free-of-charge events every year. This will continue until your child turns 7.
3. Book tickets to events at tapahtumat.vantaa.fi/culturekids.
What are the Culture Kids events like?
Events for Culture Kids
- The events are free of charge
- The events are being organised all over Vantaa
- The events are suitable for people speaking different languages
- The events include performances, workshops, exhibitions, music, dance, theatre, science, art
- At the events, children and parents get to spend time together in a fun way
- The events are only for Culture Kids and are designed according to the child's developmental stages
- Attending the events promotes the wellbeing of the entire family

Feedback from Vantaa Culture Kids event
After visiting the event, Vantaa Culture Kids' caretaker can give feedback by filling out an electronic form.
With the feedback received from the events, we can develop activities together with the families of Vantaa Culture Kids!
Open call for cultural operators
Vantaa Culture Kids is looking for programs through the Open Call twice a year, in April and November.
The call is aimed at arts and culture professionals.
The Open Call for Proposals for the Spring 2026 program is now open.
The application period is October 27–November 23, 2025 and it ends on November 23, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
