Vantaa tunes in to the upcoming election on the Vantaudu vaaleille tour and Nuorten vaaleilla (“Youth Election”)
The Vantaudu vaaleille tour raises awareness of both the parliamentary elections and topics important to the people of Vantaa. A total of 18 primary and secondary schools and two youth facilities in Vantaa signed up to be the organizers of the educational voting event Youth Elections in 2023.
Election advertising
Outdoor advertising for the presidential election in 2024 can begin a week before advance voting, on January 10th. Use of public spaces for campaigning is allowed under certain conditions.
General information on elections
Everyone who is 18 years old on the day of the election is entitled to vote, but otherwise the right to vote is determined on an election-by-election basis.
Postal voting from abroad
In the presidential election, voters living abroad can order postal voting documents from 28.10.2023 onwards. Postal voting begins on the 21st of December 2023.

The election day for the presidential election is Sunday 28.1.2024 and the possible second election day is Sunday 11.2.2024.
