Vantaa tunes in to the upcoming election on the Vantaudu vaaleille tour and Nuorten vaaleilla (“Youth Election”)
The Vantaudu vaaleille tour raises awareness of both the parliamentary elections and topics important to the people of Vantaa. A total of 18 primary and secondary schools and two youth facilities in Vantaa signed up to be the organizers of the educational voting event Youth Elections in 2023.

Outdoor advertising of county and municipal elections will be begun, at the earliest, on March 13, 2025.
General information on elections
Everyone who is 18 years old on the day of the election is entitled to vote, but otherwise the right to vote is determined on an election-by-election basis.
Postal voting from abroad
Those Finnish nationals who are entitled to vote and who permanently or during the elections are staying abroad can vote by mail from abroad. Those who are permanently staying abroad are not entitled to vote in the county elections or municipal elections.

If you are unable to visit a polling station, election officials can bring voting to you.
