In its meeting on October 19, Vantaa city executive board reviewed amendments to the local detailed plans for Keimola, Kivistö, and Petikko.
More office and commercial premises on Technoboulevardi and a new connection to Aviapolis Center
The city executive board decided to propose that the city council approve the amendment to the local detailed plan for Technoboulevardi. The plan will enable the construction of office and commercial premises in Veromies, as well as a new road and bridge connection toward the Aviapolis center.
A Sortti recycling station planned for Varisto
The city executive board decided to propose that the city council approve the amendment to the local detailed plan for Sortti recycling station in Varisto. The plan enables the construction of an HSY Sortti recycling station on Martinkyläntie. The facility will include office, reception, staff welfare, and storage spaces totaling 1,000 square meters of gross floor area.
Housing and jobs at the intersection of Äyritie and Rälssitie
The city executive board decided to put the proposed amendment to the local detailed plan for Veromies on public display. The plan would allow the construction of three new apartment building blocks, office premises, and a parking facility. The area could accommodate approximately 660 residents and up to 250 jobs.
Martinlaaksontie 26 reserved for future public services
The city executive board decided to propose that the city council approve the amendment to the local detailed plan for Martinlaaksontie 26. The local detailed plan changes the park area into a block area of public buildings where facilities such as a daycare center, assisted living facility, health center, or other public services can be built. The plan allows for 3,500 square meters of floor area for construction and provides for the Valkopolku pedestrian and bicycle connection.
