Impact of Talentia's political walkout on Early Childhood Education on Tuesday, February 6, 2024
NewsThe trade union for graduated social workers, Talentia has announced that it will organise a walkout on Tuesday 6th of February 2024 at 14.00–16.00. The work stoppage will last until the end of the shift. The work stoppage affects Talentia’s members who are employed by the City of Vantaa.

New career coaching service helps immigrants find jobs and plan their careers
NewsThe City of Vantaa has launched Get Work, a project to provide immigrants with one-to-one career coaching in English. Laurea and Metropolia are co-implementing the project. The project will run until 2025.

NewsFinnish Committee for UNICEF grants the City of Vantaa the Child Friendly Cities recognition. “In two years, Vantaa has succeeded in making permanent changes in the city’s operations, as well as significant changes for children and the young,” UNICEF acknowledges.

Early childhood education decisions made earlier have been resent to customer families due to system malfunction
NewsEarly childhood education's VaSa system (CgiVesa) was updated on Monday, January 8, 2024. Because of an error in the update, some of the customers will receive by mail old early childhood education’s place or scope decisions that are related to, for instance, year 2022.
