Nikinmäki Youth Center’s opening hours
- Tuesday: 14:30 - 20:00
- Wednesday: 16:00 - 20:00
- Thursday: 14:30 - 17:30 (Snack Club for 3rd - 6th graders)
- Friday: 14:30 - 20:00
Open activities are available for youth from 3rd graders to 17-year-olds. 3rd - 6th graders can spend time at the youth center between 14:30 and 17:30.
The activities at Nikinmäki Youth Center are managed by Vantaa YMCA.
Safer space principles
The City of Vantaa’s youth centers have adopted safer space principles. The principles have been created together with young people. We want everyone to feel that they are safe and welcome in the youth centers. The goal is that nobody be subjected to any form of discrimination, bullying, harassment, or violence. This entails, first and foremost, active measures to prevent the above and intervening in situations where the above occurs.

The City of Vantaa offers many affordable and free recreational activities for young people.
Young people can engage in many fun activities at youth centres. There are youth workers present at youth centres with whom you can chat with and ask for tips and advice or even help with studying and job-hunting.
