Skills Development Services at the Competence Campus
The Competence Campus creates the conditions for futureproof, working life oriented education. The campus will host city-run educational institutions situated on-site and a broader network of education partners across different levels. Together, they offer new opportunities for skills development for Vantaa residents and can help raise the overall level of education in the city.

Wealth of Opportunities for Learning
Tikkurila Competence Campus is a unique hub for skills development.
It will provide space to Tikkurila Upper Secondary School, Varia Vocational College, Vantaa Adult Education Institute, and Vantaa Music Institute. In addition, the campus will build a broader network of upper secondary schools, universities of applied sciences, and universities.
Skills development and raising the level of competence are strategic priorities for the City of Vantaa. Close collaboration between educational institutions and businesses also fosters innovation, vitality, and strengthens Vantaa’s competitiveness. Together with campus education providers, we ensure that the range of education expands, evolves, and meets the needs of a growing and increasingly international city and its labour market.
The campus offers an attractive location and flexible facilities for a variety of education providers. The goal is to attract especially university-level education to the area.
