Voting allows you to influence important issues for you and your loved ones – County and municipal elections 2025
With the "Value your daily life. Cast your vote.” campaign, we bring attention to the city's responsibilities. The city ensures that daycare centers, schools, sports facilities, libraries, roads, streetlights, and many other services that affect our daily lives function properly. The city council makes decisions on these matters, and you have the power to choose who will be your voice.
Yes, your vote matters. In Finland, there are several cases where a candidate's entry into the council has been decided by a single vote. Even one elected councilor can influence the city's operations: last year alone, 91 council initiatives were made in the Vantaa City Council.
We hope that every resident of Vantaa will use their right to vote so that Vantaa truly reflects its residents. You might even find a suitable candidate from your own neighborhood!
