Exceptions in sports facilities’ opening hours on August 28 – swimming halls among others closed
The City of Vantaa’s swimming halls and several of the city’s other sports facilities are closed on Thursday, August 28, due employee training. Many of the city’s sports facilities are closed for either the entire day or part of the day.
The following sports facilities are closed on Thursday, August 28:
- The Hakunila, Korso, Martinlaakso, Myyrmäki and Tikkurila swimming halls and their fitness centers
- The Myyrmäki and Tikkurila sports houses, Vantaan Energia Areena, Myyrmäki football stadium and Myyrmäki hall
- The Tikkurila sports park's fields, Myyrmäki sports field, Hiekkaharju sports field, Hakunila sports field and Kartanonkoski sports park (the fields are open, but the maintenance buildings, changing rooms and bathrooms are closed for the entire day)
The following sports facilities are open in accordance with the granted turns of use:
- Tikkurila and Myyrmäki indoor ice rinks
- Rajakylä tennis center
- Hakunila and Rajatorppa civil defense shelters
- Hämeenkylä ball game hall
- Liesikuja gymnastics hall
- Koivukylä senior citizens’ center
- Lumo sports facilities
