Artists’ portrait exhibition of Nanne Botteri on the gallery wall of Mosaiikki urban culture center
Nanne Botteri's linoleum art can be seen on the gallery wall of Mosaiikki urban culture center on October 15–28, 2025.
International stars can be seen on the Gallery Wall of Mosaiikki urban culture center in Nanne Botteri’s exhibitions. Colored artworks were showcased in August, and black-and-white artworks are being exhibited in October.
Rhaiane Modesto Francoti Järveläinen, known by her artist pseudonym Nanne Botteri, is a Brazilian art hobbyist who moved to Finland in 2014 and who creates both black-and-white and colored graphic art. The self-taught artist has made graphic art and paper art for ten years.
Linoleum art is a form of relief printing in which a pattern or template is carved into a linoleum, rubber or vinyl surface, which can then be used for printing. Järveläinen also uses non-woven fabric as a material for her works.
Each work is unique. Japanese, Brazilian and Italian artists and bands are the theme of the upcoming exhibition, all depicted against colorful backgrounds.
“There aren't many Finns included in the exhibit this time. Previously, I’ve created portraits of Jussi and Jyrki (69) and Eicca Toppinen, among others,” says Botteri.
Nanne Botteri works in her own workroom every day. The optimistic artist says that she is putting effort into doing more things that she loves.
“I have a motto: for a happy life, you need both a therapist and a good hobby. I’m also grateful to my family and friends for all the support and encouragement that they give me for my art hobby. It’s very important,” says Botteri.
For a happy life, you need both a therapist and a good hobby.
“Going forward, I want to learn to draw better, more realistic pictures. My future plans also include creating works using ink on fabric and printing bags, for example.”
