Christmas market’s program
Vantaa's Christmas market is open on December 6, at 9:00-19:00, and on December 7-21, at 10:00-19:00.
The carousel is open on December 6 at 10:00-18:00, and on December 7-21, at 11:00-19:00.
Opening morning on December 6, 2025
At 9:00 The City of Vantaa’s Independence Day celebration
The traditional Independence Day ceremony in front of Vantaa City Hall in Tikkurila.
Mayor Pekka Timonen will deliver a speech, and music will be provided by the Vantaa Music Institute's wind orchestra Vamos. The orchestra will perform instrumental versions of the Flag Fanfare and the March of the Pori Regiment, and accompany the communal singing of the Flag Song and the national anthem "Maamme." The flag-raising duty will be carried out by the Timanttipartio scout troop from Kivistö. Free admission.
