Employment Services’ booking practices will change
Please remember to check in upon arrival for your appointment at Employment Services.
Employment Services’ customers will now check in for their appointments using a queue management system upon arrival. To check in, you will need a booking key code, which you will receive by text message from Vantaa. The text message will be sent when the appointment is booked and again two hours before the appointment. Please make sure your contact information is up to date on the Job Market Finland online service.
If you have not provided your phone number through the Job Market Finland online service, you will receive the booking key code either as a Suomi.fi Message or by mail.
Phased implementation
If you were invited to an appointment before October 15 and have not received a separate text message from the City of Vantaa regarding the appointment, you may proceed directly to the service floor specified in your appointment invitation and wait for your turn.
In this case, the appointment does not require advance check-in at the queue management system. If you have provided your phone number, you will receive a booking key code by text message two hours before your appointment, which will be used for appointment check-in.
Arrive on time for your appointment
We recommend that you arrive well in advance to your appointment. Check-in takes place on the service floor specified in the message you receive.
After checking in at the queue management system, you may proceed to the appropriate waiting area and wait for your appointment. You will be called in using your queue number.
Carefully review the instructions in your appointment invitation
Not all appointments require check-in at the queue management system. Always follow the instructions provided in your appointment invitation.
In some situations, you will be instructed to proceed directly to the designated floor and waiting area without a separate check-in. In these cases, the employee will call you to the appointment as described in the invitation.
Carefully reviewing the instructions in your appointment invitation will help ensure a smooth service experience.
