Playground meals
Playground meals again available in the summer! Warm meals will be distributed free of charge to under-18-year-old Vantaa residents in various places around the city from June 2 to August 1, on weekdays at 11:00–12:00. Lunches are now also distributed to seniors living in Vantaa.
Vantaa will again provide playground meals in the summer of 2025.
Warm meals will be distributed free of charge to under-18-year-old Vantaa residents in various places around the city from June 2 to August 1, on weekdays at 11:00–12:00, or for as long as food is available.
Warm meals are served at seven distribution point. The meals may contain foodstuffs that are not suitable for those on special diets.

Free senior meals
Lunches are now also distributed to seniors living in Vantaa. Meals are intended for elderly residents of Vantaa or those who are retired based on age. Lunches are distributed
- at Vihertie residential park and on Fridays in June
- at Korso residential park on Fridays in July
Welcome to have a meal and some outdoor exercise!
- Bring your own drink and your own flatware: a bowl, spoon, and fork.
- Prepare yourself for the weather since we are eating outdoors.
- We also offer you other nice program, such as music and exercise.
Playground meals are arranged by: Vantaa Early Childhood Education and Basic education, Youth and Community Services, City Library, Cultural Services for Children and the Young, Sports Services, Inclusion services, Oral Health Care, Lastenliitto, Vantaa Adult Education Centre and Vantti Oy.
