On this page, you will find activities for children and young people in summer 2026.
On this page
Diverse activities at youth centres for ages 10–17
Across all areas of Vantaa, a wide variety of activities will be available next summer for children and young people aged 10–17. The programme includes open youth centre activities, mobile and outreach youth work, as well as trips and camps.
At youth centres, young people can take part in planning activities together with youth workers. Activities are organised from June to August at youth centres, schools and event locations. Some activities are open to everyone, while others require advance registration.
The Nutapaku mobile youth centre travels around different areas of Vantaa in June. Activities are aimed at 4th graders up to 17-year-olds. Nutapaku can also be booked to a specific location on its movement days. You can follow its route during the day on Instagram and Snapchat: @nutapaku.
Summer activities organised by regional youth work are free of charge, substance-free and open to all young people aged 10–17. More information is available from local youth centres, their social media channels and on the website vantaa.fi/en/nuoret.
Workshops and art camps are organised at Vernissa Cultural Factory, and young people can perform at events on the Tikkurila summer stage, Vernissa Stage.
For young adults, weekly hobby and leisure activities are available throughout the summer. You can take part in summer cafés, hangout spaces and events.
Summer activities organised by regional youth work are not limited to youth centre buildings. In June, youth workers travel with the Nutapaku mobile youth centre to young people’s favourite hangout spots to organise activities, lend equipment, talk and spend time with young people.
Nutapaku travels around Vantaa in different areas during June from Monday to Friday between 3 pm and 8 pm. Activities are aimed at young people from 4th grade up to 17 years old. Nutapaku can also be booked to a specific location on its operating days. You can follow its daily route on Instagram and Snapchat: @nutapaku.
