Services during summer
Playground meals
Playground meals again available in the summer 2026! Warm meals will be distributed free of charge to under-18-year-old Vantaa residents in various places around the city from June 1 to July 31, on weekdays at 11:00–12:00. Lunches are also distributed to seniors living in Vantaa.
Summer-job voucher for the young
The City of Vantaa supports 15-18-year-old Vantaa young people with a summer-job voucher worth 300 euros. A young person may get one summer-job voucher per year. You can apply for the 2026 summer-job voucher as of February 2026.
Carpet washing sites
In the summer, all Vantaa residents can wash their carpets at the carpet washing sites. The use of carpet washing sites is free of charge.
