The legislated private care allowance of a child participating in pre-primary teaching in accordance with the Basic Education Act is €64.24 per month, and the income-based care supplement in €32.12 per month. The Vantaa bonus is €100 per month.
The private care allowance for early childhood education and care related to pre-primary education should be applied for via Kela. Kela will also make the decision on the municipal bonus based on the same application. In addition to applying for the private care allowance, the family must also pay for the service provider.
