Studies can be specialised in the City of Vantaa's general upper secondary schools. Three general upper secondary schools have a special focus in accordance with the national special duties and they offer an extensive course/study selection in different areas: the English-speaking IB Diploma Programme in Tikkurila upper secondary school, natural sciences focused upper secondary school in Martinlaakso and music and dance-focused school in Vaskivuori.
