Exceptions in sports facilities’ opening hours on August 28 – swimming halls among others closed
The City of Vantaa’s swimming halls and several of the city’s other sports facilities are closed on Thursday, August 28, due employee training. Many of the city’s sports facilities are closed for either the entire day or part of the day.
Multilingual guidance service in Vantaa this autumn – new brochures available
The autumn service hours for Multilingual Guidance are valid from August 1, 2025, and the new service brochures are now available. The brochures have been created in all the service languages used in the guidance.

Vantaa inspired and trained Ukrainians to employ themselves as private entrepreneurs
During spring 2025, Startup Refugees organized private entrepreneurship training courses in Russian for new Ukrainian entrepreneurs. These courses consisted of a webinar series and a crash course on entrepreneurship, which aimed to support new entrepreneurs in the Vantaa area.

The customer elevator in Myyrmäki House will be renewed and therefore out of service from 21 July to 29 August 2025. During this period, access to the second floor of Myyrmäki House — including the library’s reading room — will only be possible via stairs.
