On June 5, libraries in Vantaa already close at 18:00
Vantaa libraries will close their doors a couple of hours earlier than usual—due to an information system server update—on Wednesday June 5.
The server update will also affect the functions of Helmet online library as of 18:00. During the update, you cannot log in the helmet.fi service with your Helmet library card, check the acquisition data of material, place holds, renew loans, or make online payments.
Because of the server update, the due dates of loans and pickup deadlines for material will be automatically postponed after Wednesday, June 5 and Thursday, June 6. In other words, customers do not need to take any action concerning the above.
Hakunila and Länsimäki libraries are closed completely on June 5 due to cleaning and staff development day.
On Thursday June 6, Vantaa libraries will have their regular opening hours. Nevertheless, self-service libraries will be unavailable at Länsimäki, Point, Pähkinärinne, and Mosaiikki libraries.
