Activities for families with children are organised in open day-care centres, residential parks and meeting places. Activities for families with children are also organised by the city's children's cultural centres Toteemi and Pessi.
Young people are welcome to spend time with diverse activities at the city's youth centres. There is a total of fourteen youth centres, and they are mainly intended for young people aged 10-17. Youth centre activities are organised in afternoons and evenings and at weekends.
In addition, many organisations offer casual activities across Vantaa.

Young people can engage in many fun activities at youth centres. There are youth workers present at youth centres with whom you can chat with and ask for tips and advice or even help with studying and job-hunting.

Open meeting places for families with children
A meeting place is a, easy and relaxed 'living room' for all families with children. At the meeting place, you can speak with the workers of the City of Vantaa's wide range of services for families with children, representatives of various organisations and volunteers.
Residential Parks
Residential parks provide guided outdoor and indoor activities. Residential parks are meant for children of all ages and their guardians.
