Vantaa has several facilities where you can spend time, meet other people and engage in communal activities. Open meeting places are available for all ages.

The City of Vantaa has several facilities across all sub-regions where you can spend time, meet other people and engage in communal activities.

Residential activity facilities welcome all local people. There, you can meet people for coffee, engage in recreational activities or use a public computer. Residents and organisations can also re
…serve facilities for their own use in evenings and at weekends. There is a total of ten residential activity facilities in Vantaa.
The eleven libraries of Vantaa operate as the residents' shared living rooms, where you can work and study, attend events and reserve facilities for various purposes.
Activities for families with children are organised in open day-care centres, residential parks and meeting places. Activities for families with children are also organised by the city's children's cultural centres Toteemi and Pessi.

Young people are welcome to spend time with diverse activities at the city's youth centres. There is a total of fourteen youth centres, and they are mainly intended for young people aged 10-17. Youth centre activities are organised in afternoons and evenings and at weekends.
In addition, many organisations offer casual activities across Vantaa.

Young people can engage in many fun activities at youth centres. There are youth workers present at youth centres with whom you can chat with and ask for tips and advice or even help with studying and job-hunting.

A meeting place is a, easy and relaxed 'living room' for all families with children. At the meeting place, you can speak with the workers of the City of Vantaa's wide range of services for families with children, representatives of various organisations and volunteers.
