Voting on election day
On election day you can vote at the polling place specified in your polling card. The Digital and Population Data Services Agency will mail the polling card to your home address approximately four weeks before the election. In addition, you can read it on the suomi.fi service. On the election day, you can only vote at the place specified in your polling card. You do not have to bring the polling card with you to the polling place.
The voting places are open from 9:00 to 20:00.
When you come to vote, remember to take your identity card with you - a driver's license is sufficient. If you do not have a document verifying your identity, you can get a temporary, free-of-charge ID card at a police station.
