Children’s and parent’s experiences of early childhood education being mapped out with a client survey
Guardians in Vantaa will receive a link to the survey from their child’s daycare centre or family daycare caregiver. The survey is open from 7 to 18 September 2026.
Night-time rock excavation works continue in Tikkurila
Vantaa light rail works are ongoing at Tikkurila station. According to current plans, night-time rock excavation works will continue on occasional nights during September. Tikkurila station and all services in the area remain open as normal.
The Vantaa City Museum in Tikkurila is now the Vantaa History Museum
As of September 1, the Vantaa City Museum’s location in Tikkurila will be known as the Vantaa History Museum. The new name was chosen from among nearly 200 suggestions. The first permanent exhibition about Vantaa's history will open to the public on November 27.

All capital region first-graders to receive a book from Helmet libraries
