Dog park of Vartiopuisto
Vartiopuisto has one shared dog pen for dogs of all sizes to roam freely.
Dogs and outdoor activities
Vantaa has 25 dog parks around the city and one dog beach. Vantaa also has three ski tracks for cross-country skiing with a dog. The ski tracks are located in Hakunila, Ruskeasanta and Petikko.
Bird year
Vantaa celebrates bird-theme year in 2022, during which special attention will be paid to many familiar bird species’ becoming endangered. The theme-year program consists of bird trips and a photo competition.
