At Pessi, even the youngest members of your family can dive into the wonderful world of art! Here, we hold concerts, theatrical performances, art shows, workshops, babies' colour baths, morning art sessions for small children, Pikkukino film shows for children and various kinds of families' events. Public transport and pedestrian traffic: Children's cultural centre Pessi is located in Tikkurila, near good traffic connections. Pessi is located within a 5-minute walk from the Tikkurila Station. The main entrance is on the Vernissakatu side of the building. This entrance is accessible by wheelchair. On weekdays, you can also use the entrance on the Maalipolku side of the building. Maalipolku runs next to the railway and is accessible from the Tikkurila Station via an underpass or the Dixi platform.

Parking: There is a car park next to Vernissakatu. Parking here is subject to a charge. The nearest free car park is the car park of the Finnish Science Centre Heureka at Kuninkaalantie 5. Follow the pedestrian route crossing Keravanjoki and Tikkurilantie to reach Pessi.

Facilities and rental services of children’s cultural centre Pessi

The facilities of children’s cultural centre Pessi are rented out for events and courses, for example. Children’s cultural centre facilities used by the cultural services of the City of Vantaa are primarily rented out for the organisation of children’s cultural activities. Local organisations and communities as well as the partners of the City of Vantaa can apply for the use of these facilities. At weekends, the facilities are rented out for private use, for example, for children’s parties.

Permanent rights of use (shifts) must be applied for by the end of March of the previous school year. Temporary rights of use (shifts) can be applied for at any time.
