Swimming hall rules and regulations as of October 1, 2025
Customers are expected to follow the general swimming hall rules and regulations. In addition to the general rules, every swimming hall enforces its own guidelines.
- Swimming time—including changing of clothes—is two (2) hours.
- Wash yourself carefully before going to the sauna and to the swimming pool. You must always remove your swimsuit when washing and going to the sauna. In addition, you must wash your hair, or cover it with a swim cap or other corresponding headgear.
- Swimming is allowed in a swimsuit defined by the city.
- If you have any infectious disease, you are forbidden to enter the swimming pool’s dressing, washing, and pool premises.
- Bringing breakable objects such as glass bottles on the swimming pool premises is forbidden.
- When on the swimming pool premises, you may not
- be under the influence of any intoxicants
- run, be noisy, or otherwise behave in a disruptive manner
- behave in a manner violating sexual morality
- use flippers, snorkel, scuba gear, or play ball outside hours dedicated for them, or without a swim guard’s special permission
- hang on swim-lane dividers
- take snuff or chewing gum
- color your hair
- use your phone or tablet computer on dressing, washing and pool premises without a separate, written permission
- shoot photos or videos without a separate, written permission
- To ensure safety, hygiene, and pleasantness
- if you have long hair, you must tie it
- swimming floats may only be worn in the children's swimming pool
- wash your own aquatic exercise gear before entering the pool
- adhere to the lane signs and other signposts
- Groups, schools, and sports clubs’ practices are only allowed under the supervision of a person in charge. The person in charge must be present throughout the practice.
- In the pool, under 8-year-old children must be accompanied by an over-18-year-old supervisor who can swim. One supervisor can have a maximum of two children who cannot swim under their supervision. Shcool-age girls shall use the dressing and washing rooms meant for women, and school-age boys those meant for men.
- When leaving the swimming pool, return the keys, leased or borrowed items to the cashier, or to their dedicated places.
- A swim guard supervises the use of springboards and diving towers. The jumps may not jeopardize the safety of other people in the pool. You may only jump into the big pool from the equipment placed at the end of the pool or beside it.
- You must follow the swimming pool personnel's instructions and regulations related to order and safety without fail. A person or community that breaches these instructions or fails to adhere to the swimming pool personnel's instructions and regulations can be ordered to exit the swimming pool and be banned from using the swimming pool for a set period of time.
- Each visitor to the swimming pool is responsible for their own clothes and other possessions on the swimming hall premises. Hand over any lost-and-found items to the cashier.
- No loitering on the swimming pool premises.
- In addition to these instructions, swimming pools can give their own, separate, swimming-pool-related instructions.
