All Vantaa residents aged 13 and over are entitled to vote on participatory budgeting ideas. The ideas that gain the most votes will be implemented in 2024-2025.

The phase for brainstorming and submitting ideas to Vantaa’s participatory budgeting ended on 30 November. About 2 000 ideas were received during the month-long submission phase.
Participatory budgeting in Vantaa will start in November
Participatory budgeting provides Vantaa residents with an opportunity to influence the city budget. The funding for Vantaa’s participatory budgeting amounts to €1.2 million in 2024–2025.
